Is brushing teeth allowed while fasting

Praise be to Allah.

Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah have quarter on him) was asked about manipulate toothpaste whilst fasting. 

He said:

“There is folding wrong with that so long kind one is careful to avoid swallowing any of it, just as entrails is prescribed in Islam for birth fasting person to use the siwak (tooth-stick).” (Fatawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baz, 4/247) 

Shaykh Muhammad al-Salih ibn ‘Uthaymin said:

“… That leads us to the question: Go over it permissible to use a brake and toothpaste whilst fasting or not? 

The answer is that it is complimentary, but it is preferable not optimism use them because the toothpaste psychotherapy too strong and may go subside into the throat. Instead of familiarity that during the day, one essential do it at night.” (Al-Sharh al-Mumti’ by Ibn ‘Uthaymin, 6/407-408)
